The effect of the application would permit the subject lands to be developed with an eight-storey condominium building containing 225 residential units and underground parking, which is currently being reviewed through a site plan application (SP.1314.003/01).
The subject land is located at the northwest corner of Dundas Street East and Ernest Appelbe Boulevard.
The “H” symbol shall, upon application by the landowner, be removed by Town Council passing a By-law under Section 36 of the Planning Act. The “H8” Holding Provision requires that the following condition shall first be completed to the satisfaction of the Town of Oakville:
a) That sufficient water and wastewater services are available to the satisfaction of the Regional Municipality of Halton and the Town of Oakville.
The removal of the “H” Holding Provision is a mechanism to ensure that the above condition is fulfilled prior to the development of the lands in accordance with the approved Zoning, and as such, there are no third-party rights of appeal on the removal of the Holding provision.
